Lately, I've been rediscovering older shows that I used to love, especially The X-Files and Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Except for Star Trek (which is part of my blood), these two shows probably constitute my first fandoms. They introduced me to fanfic. It's a lot of fun to come back to them after so many years. I'm doing an X-Files rewatch right now and having a blast. I haven't seen most of these episodes since they originally aired, when I was in middle school.
I wanted to take a peak at the fandoms, just check in and see what the 'shippers and FoLCs are up to these days. Of course, I find that many of the old sites are closed down. I know the fans are out there somewhere. I initially had the same frustration when I searched out the Buffy fandom a few years ago, until I discovered LJ.
My flist is very Buffy-heavy with a dash of BSG, but surely some of you are also fans of these shows. Can anyone point me to good X-Files or Lois and Clark sites? Active LJ communities?

I'm not sure what's going on here, but my computer seems to hate me. The draft file of my latest fanvid up and vanished, as did several seasons of downloaded TV shows, which I need for said fanvids. Sometimes, I understand why people ditch the tech permanently.
How is it that computers bring so much joy and so much frustration at the same time?

Okay, flist. I have about a million ideas for fanvids that I want to make, and I can't decide which one to work on next. So, you decide for me! I'm currently working on an epic Battlestar Galactica vid set to Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve, but where should I focus my efforts next?

It seems like forever since I posted a fanvid! This one is Dawn the Vampire Slayer. I made it for the I Reject Your Canon and Substitute My Own challenge at whedonland.
